Kale Friesen's entry in photography began shooting daily life in Paris and abandoned spaces around Europe in 2006. Switching focus in 2009 he began shooting fashion and portrait photographs where his work has been featured in commercial and editorial print internationally. Living and working in Paris, Vancouver and New York, Kale’s work is noted for hushed imagery and a subdued colour palette.
